Well I was so inspired by the author of Zen Habits Leo Babauta that I signed up to join his course called the fearless living academy. It’s all about how to create new and healthy habits for the first section which lasts about 12 months and then once that’s over you move onto fearless purpose which is all about finding and creating your purpose and then onto fearless impact, which is about the effect you have on others with your product or service.
It cost me I think about 400euro to sign up but I felt I needed to invest in myself and try something new.
My first new habit is, everyday once I walk into the kitchen to do an affirmation. I’ve decided this is going to be ‘Today is one of the best days of my life’ or else ‘I hand this day over to you Holy Spirit please guide me’ or maybe I’ll say both.
When I walk into the kitchen that’s my trigger action to say the affirmation. I need to keep it up for a week to start with and then maybe to extend it to a month. Then I get to move onto the next habit.
Tao porchen Lynch used to always wake up and say ‘This is the best day of my life’ and she had an incredible life experience doing a Ted Talk in her old age and living life to the full. I think learning these habit skills could be a new chapter for me. So looking forward to what the future holds.

(I took a break from the dragons over the last couple of days. But that’s life, it’s nice to start something new. I just hope I stick with it and end up creating the habits, purpose and impact that would best benefit us all.)
